Tales of the Dragon Kings: Part 16

Another quick posting with three more Chinese Mythology figures painted. This leaves me about ten foot figures to paint, then there are the half a dozen or so mounted ones (recently boosted from one single figure due to another lead donation by a friend - thanks Andy!)

These took a day or so longer than they should have thanks to being without electricity, for over 12 hours, following the strong winds we had at the weekend. There is no way you can paint by candlelight no matter how hard you try...

My copy of the Osprey rules 'A Fistful of Kung Fu' arrived yesterday, I'll be giving it a good read over the weekend and reporting back

Tales of the Dragon Kings: Part 15

Just a quick posting with three more Chinese mythology figures painted

I've also cleaned, stuck to bases and under-coated the remaining foot Chinese figures I have. There's still quite a few to do but I will keep going..

GAFDOZ: Protectorate Minions

As you may have read on my bio, I paint some figures for a couple of smaller companies. They supply me lead and I paint and return photos for them to use. It feeds my lead addiction :)

These are a couple of new figures for Killer-B's GAFDOZ retro sci-fi range, a new inquisitor and a new minion guard armed with ray pistol. Think Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon etc with enemy troopers who can't hit a barn door let alone the star of the show..

Whilst I was doing these for Killer-B I took the opportunity to paint some guards I had for my own gaming use. I did a display game at Colours a few years ago, it might get a roll out at another show later this year

Tales of the Dragon Kings: Part 14

And another pack of figures finished. This time it's the maiden guard for the Chaos Queen's court, and the last of the packs that my friend Steve passed onto me

Once again the colourscheme is based on the picture on Black Hat's website although I have changed the front armour to match the male guards I finished earlier and give them all a coherent feel
